"Chef du Jour catered our wedding and the food was excellent. People were happily eating several plates helpings of the delicious food. We even had a few guests asking us who the caterer was and can I get that recipe for the au gratin potatoes! Thank you Eric and crew!" - Kelly K., wedding catered 6/2016
"Eric is very easy to work with. He is able to accommodate different budgets and he is always available via email or phone. The food was delicious, we ate leftovers the next day. His menu has plenty of options. He was not present on the wedding date but his staff was very helpful." - Anonymous, wedding catered on 8/2/14
"Eric did an amazing job catering our wedding. He was a preferred caterer at our venue (Holy Names Heritage Center). Our tasting before the wedding was great and he was able to negotiate menu and price with us. We ended up with exactly what we wanted and our guests had positive things to say about the food (especially his roasted red potatoes). He listened to what we wanted and made changes to the menu accordingly. Eric was flexible on menu and linen orders up to a few days before the wedding. His crew working the day of did a phenomenal job. Eric was present to get the day started and then left the party in the capable hands of his staff. They were friendly, stayed on task and were quick to clean up. They looked and acted professional. Overall, our experience was fantastic." - Anonymous, wedding catered on 10/6/13

"Eric at Chef Du Jour Catering makes truly AMAZING food!!! I can not thank you enough for all that you did for us to make our wedding special. Not only was the food to die for, but Eric also helped me set up my candy buffet. He had all of these beautiful jars and bowls for candy and made my buffet so beautiful. I do not live in the area but if I ever need an event catered in Portland again, you will be who I call. Thank you so much!!!" -Kessley, wedding catered on 5/27/2012
"LOVE!!! These guys rocked our wedding and helped us stay within our budget for about 100 guests. We asked them to do a Hawaiian Style Kalua Pork, Mac Salad, Chicken Satay, rice and salad for our summercamp wedding.
It is hard to do a tasting of Kalua Pork since it is the method of roasting a whole pig that makes it so tasty. This is not thier normal fair but the chef really hit the mark with the entire meal. Rave reviews from all the attendees (many Hawaiian friends). Some said it was the best wedding meal they had ever eaten.
On top of that, the business owner Eric was present for our wedding and did a remarkable job of setting up the tables, settings and decor since we held the ceremony in roughly the same spot as the reception. We purchased all the wine and beer and they even provided a bartender for two nights.
Can't say enough good things about them. They can do everything!" - Suvi W, wedding catered 7/2011

"We are so happy with Chef Du Jour! They did such a great job catering our wedding. Eric was so professional and responsive to all my questions and made our wedding day such a success! The catering staff were SO nice, always asking if we needed anything and confirming everything to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. The food was great, we got a lot of compliments on it, and the dinner portion of the reception could not have gone better thanks to their awesome staff. I would recommend them to any future bride and groom, thanks Eric!!" -Katy, wedding catered on 7/16/11
